Pastor Jayant Panigrahi comes from a Christian family but used to live a sinful life. He was into drugs and alcohol and gambling. His family had given up hope in him. But his father who was the only breadwinner of the family fell sick and Pastor Jayant realized that he needs God to change his life. That is when he gave his
heart to the Lord. Later he felt the call of God and started sharing the gospel with people who did not know the Lord.
At present Pastor Jayant is doing ministry in Odisha and in Chhattisgarh. These are the heavily persecuted States in India where hundreds of pastors are persecuted and imprisoned for the gospel. In Odisha he has two small groups with 30 members in one place and 15 members in the other small groups. And in
Chhattisgarh he is pastoring a church with 45 people. He is serving as a church planter, evangelist and mentor to other disciple-makers.
Pastor Jayant and his wife Susmita have one daughter, Alvina who is 6 years old.
