Pastor Nityananda Bag comes from a Hindu family. His whole family indulged themselves in worshipping many gods and goddesses. But also they were tortured by the evil spirit. Every one in the family was attacked by the evil spirit. There was no peace in the house. They were living their life with fear. Pastor Nityananda was 12 years old when this happened. one day someone told his father about the power of Jesus over demons and encouraged them to pray to Jesus. When they
prayed and invited Jesus to their family, the demons left and there was peace in the family.
Pastor Nityananda gave his life to the Lord and decided that he will serve Jesus all his life. He went for the Bible school and learned about Jesus and came to his village and served. 
At present, pastor Nityananda pastors a church in Kalahandi district where he was born. He visits many nearby villages for evangelism and discipleship.
Pastor Nityananda and his wife Janani Bag are blessed with two sons.

With a population of 19 million people, predominantly Hindus, Western Odisha (Koshal) has been in the news for a few years now, because of the huge persecution against Christians in the state. Despite the persecution, the Lord is drawing thousands of people to Himself. The Christian population is growing
which consists mostly of the tribal people.

Western Odisha is experiencing revival as more and more people are coming to Christ. This is one of the most fertile field and stands out as one of the most missionary sending place in India.
