Pastor Bijay Nanda comes from a Christian background. Everyone in his family were devoted believers but he was socializing with bad friends and was into many bad habits. He was into certain bad habits and it was difficult for him to get out of those habits. He was after worldly things and pleasure but still he never
had peace in his heart.
His life started changing after he saw his wife’s transformed life after she put her faith in Jesus Christ. He wanted his life to be transformed as well. On 13 June 2007, he finally decided to put his faith in Christ and accept Him as his savior and took baptism. His pastor encouraged him to go to a Bible school where he was able to learn many new things about the scripture. Upon graduation he returned to his village and
started sharing the gospel with many unreached people groups.
At present, Pastor Bijay is serving in two villages that are about 35 Kilometers from his hometown. He has a house church where about 50 people attend regularly. His wife is involved in women ministry and discipling them.
He also has started an adult literacy program where 30 people attends regularly. They are not only learning how to read and write but they get an opportunity to learn about the Lord Jesus.
