Pastor Samsan Kumar while growing up he never thought of God and eternity and never had that interest to know about God. Like other young boys he got involve into bad company and soon he got addicted to bad things. His parents knew that he was involved in bad things and they corrected him but nothing happened. One day a local pastor met with pastor Samsan and asked him about his life. Samsan was unable to share his life with his parents but he was able to tell everything to the pastor and asked for help. Pastor encouraged him to believe in Jesus and that day he accepted Christ as his savior and asked for forgiveness and invited Jesus in his life. He went back home and shared everything with his parents and apologized and from that day wherever he goes he always shares the gospel. Isaiah 42:16 inspires him a lot as he knows that God will never forsake him. He believes that life is meaningful when we have Jesus in it. He is now serving the lord in two villages in Bargarh. He is pastoring two house churches and helping the believers to grow in faith. However, he is receiving many threats and facing lots of challenges from the radical Hindus in the area. But by the grace of God he is persevering, helping and encouraging people of that community to never stop praying. Pastor Samsan Kumar lives in Bargarh with his wife Subanita Kumar with their 19 years old daughter Simran Abijah Kumar, 17 years old daughter Aradhana Kumar and 12 years old son Sanjivani Kumar.
